Program & Compliance Coordinator (Full-Time)


Will be instrumental in supporting the work of the Advocate Program SSVF grant to prevent homelessness and obtain permanent housing for very low income homeless veterans and veteran families in Miami Dade and Monroe Counties. The SSVF Program & Compliance Coordinator  will also provide support to the Director and all SSVF staff in scheduling and coordinating all logistics for biweekly and quarterly meetings or community education programs sponsored by the SSVF grant. The Program & Compliance Coordinator will also play a critical role with respect to entering SSVF demographic information into client service database; ensuring that participant files are properly set up once client is accepted into SSVF Program and securely stored in accordance with the confidential records policy. The Program & Compliance Coordinator will be instrumental in the inputting of client information into HMIS and successful upload to the VA repository on a monthly basis. The Program & Compliance Coordinator may also be called upon to provide administrative support to the Director, and other SSVF staff, as needed to ensure the effective coordination of SSVF programs and services.

Salary:35k-40k per year, plus excellent benefit package

Housing Specialist ( Full-Time)


Work in collaboration with Case Managers/ Care Coordinators in finding appropriate permanent housing solutions for participants in the program by utilizing community based partnerships. Create a landlord database for quick referrals. Meet and build relationships with private/ public landlords and property managers throughout the community to provide presentations on the SSVF program and the services that Advocate Program and their partners are providing. Keep abreast of local housing resources and the client referral process. Perform a comprehensive Housing Needs Assessment for each client. Place clients in appropriate housing and accompany clients to housing related appointments. Provide services designed to enhance client health and independent living skills, thereby promoting client housing stability. Advocate with landlords on behalf of clients, as needed Complete all documents and data entry required of the job accurately and in a timely fashion.

Clinician ( Part Time-Time)


Looking for qualified clinicians to provide therapeutic services to individuals referred from the criminal justice system and civil family court system. Primary services include domestic violence, mental health and substance abuse assessments, substance abuse counseling, and individual mental health counseling.  Clinicians will be responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating individual, family, and/or group counseling sessions.  Selected candidates will be responsible for creating individualized treatment plans and submitting required reports to the referral source within a timely manner.  Applicants with experience working with offenders strongly desired.

DUI Evaluator ( Part-Time)


Responsible for Clinical interviewing, assessing to determine a client’s involvement with alcohol/other drugs and referral of DUI clients under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor who possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree.

Salary: $17.00 per hour, no benefit.

Front Desk ( Full-Time)

 

Primary job duties include data entry, assist new clients in the enrollment or intake process.   Responsible to balance all daily payments and prepare deposit slips.  Interested individuals will be expected to work nights and weekends.
