Our top priority is the safety of team members, clients and the people they come home to. We are doing everything possible to keep the everyone safe and continue doing what we need to do to serve our community.
As we all learn to accommodate and adjust to this critical and growing public health concern, Advocate Program will be rolling out alternative methods of service delivery to ensure our clients can access needed services. Effective immediately enrollments, reports and most services will be available by phone, email, and through video conferencing to avoid the need for clients to travel and visit offices.
Scheduled classes and appointments have not been canceled and we have instituted safety measures and increased sanitary processes to ensure a clean and safe environment for everyone. However, we are asking that anyone that has been exposed to the virus, tested positive for COVID-19, or has cold/flu symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, fever, or shortness of breath refrain from entering our facilities. if you are unable to attend and would like to reschedule for a future date, we can facilitate those changes and offer alternative services without penalty. We ask that clients be patient with us as we are engaging in screenings to ensure those that are served in the office do not pose a heightened risk to other clients and team members.
We will continue to evaluate the situation and adjust our plans based on the information we have on hand. Our goal is to continue to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders, while doing the next right thing to keep our patients safe. – Isabel Perez-Morina, Ph.D., Advocate Program CEO
